Booked the Oysterfleet for my Dad's wake and the function room was absolutely perfect. The size of the room for all friends and family and the staff and food provided. The lift was very handy for the older guests - and day went extremely well. Perfect location for those in and around the Canvey Island area, for parties and funerals.
I for one would say me and my Lady Friend had the Best Lamb shank meal I have ever had. Would Recommend the Lamb Shank will have again and not to experience. Thanks Oyster fleet staff and Chiefs. Xx

I'm only reviewing the pub and restaurant side of this business as we've not stayed in the hotel. We booked a table for 8 on a Saturday evening and as you would expect the bar area was certainly very busy. However, we were served in a reasonable time and then shown to our table in the attached restaurant area. The waitress was polite and helpful and offered good advice with our order. Food arrived in good time and was really well presented especially for a pub restaurant. It was nice and hot, really tasty and the menu also offered good choice. It is worth noting that although the pub was busy the restaurant was actually relatively quiet, considering it was a Saturday evening, we expected it to be more busy. All our group enjoyed the food and for that reason we'd recommend it. Please see my pictures
I have just finished my stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are very kind smiley and helpful. The room I stayed in was big and clean and the bed was comfy too. Great location and the lake is beautiful too. Ill most certainly book this hotel again when visiting Canvey and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you very much
