Cheap location, had no trouble there, cold in winter, good view of the River Thames watching the container ships go by, had on the nice walk this side
Love their omelettes great place to eat especially in the summer
I have lived here for just over a year. What can I tell you? It can sometimes resemble Beruit. Since i've been here, one caravan has been burnt down, a car was set fire to and someone smashed all the windows in a caravan more than once. Add to that the fragrant air.. you can get high just by breathing it in and a sour faced cow in the reception office who ignores you and carries on talking to her colleagues until she absolutely cannot ignore you any more and you have a place that you must avoid unless completely desperate. Yep, I live here as a private paying tenant ( i do not get housing benefit) because I was desperate. The only thing that I can say for this sad excuse of a place are the guys who work security. With one or two exceptions, they are a friendly bunch and really helpful. My advice to anyone considering the so called joys of caravan living is don't do it unless there really is no other choice.
