A few days ago i had johns removals move me and I can't recommend them enough. They packed all my belongings and moved me and my family and made our experience of moving 100% stress free .
Tread with caution!!We booked John's removals as they did come recommended!All communication after initial house visit with my wife was over phone, text or email. Mostly text as difficult to get hold of them..On the day the guys worked hard and we extended our thanks with bacon sandwiches, lunch and in my opinion a generous tip!I now have an issue which i am suposedely time barred and just can't believe the nonchalant aggressive replies I am now getting from the owner! I tried to deal with this issue without leaving a negative review with what I believed to be a reputable company. Sadly this is not the case..The problem is as it transpires the owner asked my wife to sign a piece of paper on moving day referring to T&C's on the internet (first time this has been mentioned). This wasn't duly spotted due to all that was going on that day and to coin a phrase from the owner leave it all to us moving is stresfull enough. Again smoke and mirrors spring to mind..We Sadly moved being oblivious to such restrictive on T&C's (you may say more fall us).The owner was fully aware when we moved in we had heating issues (new build) meaning we would be in a hotel until fixed. Then my wife had an operation (also aware) which delayed everything else and without broadband being installed we never rushed to install Tv's but when we did you coud then see screen had an issue which wasn't noticeable prior to turning on a screen.I am now told We could have applied for extended time for insurance (not previously advised). This just adds to our disappointment..All I can say is the staff are good but God forbid you have an issue as the owner just refuses to accept any liability. Tread with caution all!! If they can treat Genuine claims and notify insurers of real time events I am sure this company will be able to grow..I have to say I have never left a negative review before but feel so strongly that had to share to warn others..
