We went for the October open day. Not a great deal to be seen but if you are into old busses it will interest you. A couple of old fire engines on display too with some fire fighting equipment as well. An extensive model railway layout was up the stairs.

This is an OK museum, we have been to a few over past couple of years and this has prob been my least favourite as young 'un wasn't able to jump in and out of lots of vehicles like he has with some of the others. This limits the time we spend looking round... They have a impressive model railway set up as well as the buses, but I think we only really managed to drag it all out to about an hour stay. People running it were very nice, and it is clear they are passionate about the vehicles there. Well worth visiting if this is your 'cup of tea' and entry is by donation so no issues there...!
It's ok. They have a collection of old buses but the kids can only run around on a couple of them. Aside from that there's a really good model railway upstairs that's interesting to watch for a while. The people running the place are very nice. Overall I'd say it's good for a short visit when you need to kill some time, rather than planning your day around it.
